New member elected to FoodServiceEurope Board

During the General Assembly that took place in Vienna on 19 May 2017, Carlo Scarsciotti was unanimously elected Vice-President of FoodServiceEurope. Mr Scarsciotti succeeds Alastair Storey who was member of FoodServiceEurope’s Board since 2011.

Carlo Scarsciotti is the Chairman of Angem – Italian National Association of Food and Support Services companies - and Director of Oricon – Foodservice and Nutrition Observatory - since July 2013. Until May 2013 he was Chairman of Compass Group Italy, for which he served as Chief Executive Officer from October 2005 to May 2012.

He has been involved in the food service business for about 20 years.  Before Compass he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ligabue Catering for 12 years.

Throughout his career he had also other numerous technical, commercial and management experiences. He has a degree in nuclear engineering and MBA Bocconi University Milan.
