FERCO (the Fédération Européenne de la Restauration Collective Concédée) re-launched as FoodServiceEurope on 5 March at the European Parliament.

In an event hosted by MEP Toine Manders and attended by the Irish Presidency of the EU and the European Commission, FERCO President Norbert Hummel unveiled the new name and logo of the organisation.

FERCO was established in 1990 to discuss and address the key issues affecting the contract catering sector. With its new name, logo and website, FoodServiceEurope will continue fulfilling its mission to tackle the predominant socio-economic facing Europe and to drive sustainable growth for the catering industry and for Europe as a whole.
